Open design linear ball bearing (ISO series 3) available diameter from 12 to 80 mm. Optimized for rigidity and high performance while easy to mount. Made for long distance strokes with supported shafts. LBCT linear ball bearings are used in applications where several shaft supports, or a continuous shaft support is needed to prevent shaft bending. Due to the open design of the LBCT bearing, one raceway segment is eliminated. However, this does not have a significant effect on its load carrying capacity. The sealed variant is fitted with integral double lip seals. These seals have an inner lip to keep lubricant in the bearing; the outer lip acts like a wiper seal to keep contaminants out of the bearing. Unsealed bearings are fitted with non-contacting shields to protect the bearing from large contaminant particles. LBCT linear ball bearings are also available with stainless steel balls and raceways for wet or corrosive environments. The stainless steel variant is identified by a HV6 suffix in the designation.
